Ventilation pipes are hollow pipes used for ventilation, mostly circular or square. The plates, profiles, and other main finished materials used in the production and installation of ventilation pipes should comply with the current national standards for design and related products, and factory inspection certificates should be applied. Materials should be inspected and accepted according to the current national standards when entering the site. Next, we will share the structural form of ventilation pipes.
1. Air inlet pipe
The inlet pipe of a centrifugal fan generally needs to be changed in diameter, that is, the circular section becomes a rectangular section, and passes through a 90 ° elbow.
Because the inlet of centrifugal fans is mostly made into circular pipes, and in the ventilation duct system, circular pipes occupy a larger space compared to rectangular pipes. At the same time, the production of circular 90 ° elbows is more difficult than rectangular 90 ° elbows, and the technical requirements are higher. Therefore, in many cases, the inlet of the exhaust fan is controlled into rectangular 90 ° elbows. In order to connect with the inlet pipe of the exhaust fan, a transition joint from circular to rectangular should be made between the circular and rectangular pipes.
2. Air outlet pipe
When changing the direction of the outlet pipe of a centrifugal fan, it is recommended to align it with the direction of air flow in the fan. When the length of the outlet pipe joint is short and the curvature radius is small, install a guide plate in the elbow.
3. Shape and size of ventilation duct elbows
The shape and size of a 90 ° rectangular elbow shall have a small inner curvature radius not less than the pipe diameter, and a small outer curvature radius not less than the pipe diameter.
